Hi and welcome to our site, below is some basic info on who we are are what we can do for you.
Slam69 is a workshop and retail shop, its run by myself Graham Foot and my wife Sheila, we both ride ourselves; you may see us out on our mountain bike tandem.
The workshop is run by myself, Graham Foot, I've been fixing bikes and handbuilding wheels for over 25 years. I've had experience in all types of the cycle industry from frame design and manufacture in the uk, retail shop, sales and promotion, mountain bike race team manager as well as competing myself at a National level in both XC and DH, culminating in a uk Gold medal in Downhill in 1996.
Along with another mountain biker, Mark Churchill, we got the local mountain bike club, Bigfootmbc going in 1994, which i'm glad to say is still going strong
I also brought 4X/BSX to the world with a cycle facility at Cranham, which was well known under the KIS name.
Slam69 itself has grown from nothing due to local demand for cycle repairs and my wheel building reputation, we now specialise in the younger end of the market again led by customer demand but still cater for all so don't be put off. we service all bikes. full details can be found in our workshop pages.
